Create your first PDF
Add your pages
Tap Add images, or tap the + button in Recents. Choose Scan document, Camera, or Photo Library.
Arrange and improve
Drag pages to reorder them. Tap a page to preview it, rotate it, or choose Original, Auto Enhance, or Black & White.
Choose PDF options
Open Options to adjust the page size, orientation, margins, image quality, and file name.
Create and save
Tap Create PDF. Preview or share the finished file, then tap Done. It will remain available in Recents on your device.
Frequently asked questions
Where are my PDFs stored?
PhotoPDF stores created PDFs locally inside the app on your iPhone. They appear in Recents and are not uploaded by PhotoPDF.
How do I save a PDF to Files or share it?
Open the PDF from the completion screen or Recents, then tap Share. Choose Save to Files, Mail, Messages, AirDrop, or another destination from Apple’s share sheet.
How do I rename or delete a PDF?
In Recents, swipe left on a PDF or use its available actions. You can rename, share, or delete it. Deleting a PDF from PhotoPDF cannot be undone.
Why does importing many photos take longer?
Large or high-resolution selections need extra time to prepare. Keep PhotoPDF open while the progress indicator finishes. For the best reliability, create smaller batches if your device is low on storage.
The camera or scanner will not open. What should I do?
Open iPhone Settings, find PhotoPDF, and allow Camera access. The document scanner requires an iPhone or iPad with an available camera.
My PDF could not be created. What should I check?
Confirm that your device has free storage, then try again. If the problem continues, reduce the number of pages or image quality and email support with your iPhone model and iOS version.
Does PhotoPDF collect my photos or documents?
No. PDF creation happens on your device. PhotoPDF does not use accounts, advertising, tracking, or servers for processing your photos and PDFs. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
